People have given up on the quarantine.

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Here is an ER doc who owns several urgent cares. He gathered data from his own practice along with data from other epidemiologists and biostatisticians and talked about it on youtube. His videos were apparently deleted by google and youtube.

To summarize, he thinks complete quarantine and economic shut down is actually going to hurt us. Its a very informative video.

Those physicians have been debunked pretty hard by actual science.

Stop getting your news from questionable sources like Sebastian Gorka. You are a pharmacist. You know where to get peer reviewed, reliable information. To answer Gorka's titular question...Google and Youtube are removing their videos because they are false and open them up to potential liability.

No they haven't been debunked by "actual science." That statement released by ACEP is not factual. Those doctors were extrapolating the data they had on hand and they had a good sample size. I'm sure you didn't even watch the full video.

The actual science that you keep referring to was work done by Neil Ferguson and his cohorts from Imperial College. They grossly conjured epidemiological models pointing to imminent disaster which led to the world shutdown. Now that scientific model has been discredited and hailed as one of the most erroneous scientific endeavors conducted.

Ok, Libertarian-bot. All government bad. Got it.
You like to group people to make life easier for you. Because I oppose vaccine use among developed nations, I must be an anti-vaxer. LOL. Or if I employ Marxist economic theory I must be a God damn communist.

What peer reviewed studies do you use to test how much of the government one must believe?

This is what fiscal responsibility looks like. Ofc they are also not trying to run the world with their military

Not all, but telling the country they cannot work for months? That’s bad

You know whats bad? When you have a chief clown inciting a cultural war which causes people to wear masks along political divide

Because I oppose vaccine use among developed nations, I must be an anti-vaxer.

Opposing vaccine use among developed nations sounds exactly like an anti-vaxxer.

Here's the definition of an antivaxxer from a dictionary:
Anti-vaxxer definition is - a person who opposes vaccination or laws that mandate vaccination.

There's a reason why developed nations don't have outbreaks of preventable diseases that's because we vaccinate. Oh wait..

I’m not sure if you’re arguing with me or not?

I’m not a big fan of him either

Oppose? Like don’t think the govt should force it or actually think people shouldn’t choose to?

Anti-vaxxers oppose all vaccine use. I don't disagree with the science behind vaccines. As to the merits of vaccine use among developing nations, that is a complicated socioeconomic discussion that goes beyond the scope of most people.

Look - let’s get back to the more important question here....

Is there going to be another flood? And - will there be a new type of rainbow the marks the sky when the Coronavirus goes away?

You guys get distracted too easy...

I do wonder what it would take to put the military on the chopping block. China and Russia spend a fraction of what the US spends and they both seem to accomplish their goals better than we do.
Our goals are bigger than theirs

Basically the vaccines that are given to those outside the West have had a long history of maiming and sterilizing its recipients. Once again, there are no double blind placebo trials pointing this out. That would defeat the purpose.

These under developed nations are eager to give vaccines to their populaces but don't even care about disinfecting city water supplies or providing sustainable developments for their peoples.

Here are a few REPORTED examples of vaccine uses that have caused harm to people:

1) Polio outbreaks in Africa caused by mutation of strain in vaccine

2) Dengue vaccine fiasco leads to criminal charges for researcher in the Philippines

3) Who's Behind the Program to Sterilize Kenyan Women Without Their Consent? - PRI

4) Tetanus Vaccine May Be Laced With Anti-Fertility Drug. International / Developing Countries - PubMed

Well, @sb247 is a bit different. He might literally be a libertarian robot. I feel like I already know what his opinion is before he posts it. I kind of respect that level of devotion to an ideology.

You didn't understand my flood analogy. Covid is not the flood. There is no imminent biological terror. Covid is being used as a pretext for the economic damage and social upheaval that is unfolding.

God promised He will not destroy the world with a flood again not that there will never be judgment again. This time the world will be consumed with fire.

Yes, its going to look like this

Yes, its going to look like this

that is my favorite part of that movie. I really hope that a sequel comes out that shows us what happens next.

If I remember right they were traveling to the alien homeworld to seek revenge.

I actually met Ridley Scott in person (director of that movie) about 10 years ago. Really cool guy

So on one hand we have someone who thinks first world countries shouldn’t vaccinate. And we have someone else who thinks vaccines in third world country are part of a conspiracy to sterilize women or whatever crazy **** they are peddling.

Together they make the perfect anti-vaxxer!

Why would anyone in Noah’s time have been afraid of a flood? Less than 1% of people die due to drowning. And most of those people are old and live near water. Young, healthy people who don’t live near water had very little to fear from flooding.

This is a great point... Any nibbles on this one? Let’s get deep....

You raise a good point. This was probably the same line of reasoning used by them lol.

The flood waters were high enough to cover the highest mountain peak on Earth and came down with such force. Thousands of people died from the flooding in Katrina and that was a cake walk compared to this actual divine judgment.

Also, the waters were powerful enough to destroy the giants that were born from the unlawful union of fallen angels and women at the time; these giants were capable of performing the feats depicted by ancient mythologies.

Oh yeah... The giants. The Nephelim and the lizard people.

This could be the Nephelim spreading a virus to re-take the world back from the humans. We do know that the lizard people already peacefully co-exist with us.

The nephelim have been destroyed but their spirits are free to roam and cause mayhem. These are what people call evil spirits or demons. Satan and his cohorts have control over them. Because they once were human, they long for human desires and can possess with great affinity.

No one is spreading the virus, there is no need to. The idea alone is sufficient to disrupt everything. But these evil spirits dwell in those from every facet of power, from the lowly alderman to presidents and prime ministers. For it is written: "“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast."

This nameless beast is behind all these events: "For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way."

My question is - how does Stonehenge and the pyramids play into this?

These places hold great mystical power and serve as beacons for evil entities.

I heard of a woman who accidentally fell through a portal at Stonehenge and she ended up going back in time. She ended up marrying a young Scottish lord and cheated on her present day husband. Apparently she lived to tell the story..

True story... She was a nurse..

Nah. They were just weird old religious things. Stonehenge was a cemetery. The pyramids were just narcissistic tombs for kings. Usually built to line up with the sun and solstices and equinoxes.

To be fair to the ancients, worshiping the sun makes a lot more sense than the most popular religions of today. At least the sun is literally what provides everything to us.

To continue to be fair - some believe that Jesus was actually an allegory to the sun.

Or in other words - modern Christianity is a spin off of ancient sun worshiping. So - maybe if you gave it a chance it would make more sense after all.

Going back to my point, have we distinguished the difference between death by covid19 and death with covid19? If not, then no official statement of anyone would actually be valid. Peer reviewed or not. Yes, i am a scientist and as a scientist, i need to see some real data on why people died. If I died in a car accident and happened to have one arm, my reason for death shouldnt be “having one arm”. Lol.

That's fine, but the increase in deaths over expected in NYC sort of paints the picture. In fact, we may be underestimating the number of deaths.

I used to read a lot of comparative religion books. Joseph Campbell and the like. They weren't trying to be a sun based religion. Christianity had to be melded together with various other pagan religions over time as the holy roman empire spread to rule over other ethnic groups. Like how Easter came out of the Pagan equinox celebration of Oestre. The culinary world works the same way when cultures are blended. It's why I can walk into a Chinese joint around here and get Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls for some reason. What a Frankenstein of a food. Well, Christianity is a Frankenstein of a religion. A lot of cultures had a lot of influence over it as it emerged over the centuries.

Your going to trust The NY Times? I would rather consult Silky Johnson to stay up on current events.

What source would you trust? The data is being widely reported. Do you personally need to perform the 100k autopsies to determine cause of death?

Honestly, how many people do you think have COVID and then die for some unrelated reason? It’s not like COVID shuts off essential life force, there will always be a proximal cause of death as well.

Under or over, what ever it is, we should use common sense and critical thinking skills to figure out that what is happening a full of crap.

Nephilims, giants, enclosed earth, firmament or whatever. Ill use my common sense to believe what i believe. Lol.

Dude - keeping firm to our previous positions.... We must admit.... The Nephilims could have something to do with this whole thing... We really don’t know.

lmao. I saw some documentary about these people really appreciating the relationship between the earth and the sky. They gazed at stars through very still beds of water and noticed patterns occurring each year. So they made stuff to represent this relationship. Pretty interesting stuff imo

Honestly Owle - I really just wanted to reference Silky Johnson in a post..

In all seriousness - the NYT is biased, censored, and untrustworthy... in my opinion

It's very convenient that these people just happen to have "questions" about vaccines. Coincidentally, they just also happen to have "questions" about the flatness of the earth. By happenstance, many of these same people have "questions" about the Gates foundation as well as "questions" about COVID.

But no. We shouldn't call them conspiracy theorists, flat-earthers, or antivaxxers because all they have is "questions".

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

I don't think there is anything wrong with having "questions" about CoVID and trying to verify data yourself. The conspiracy theorist line is crossed when you're faced with the data and instead of accepting the consensus, you continue to believe your own theories.

Example: A guy hears about global warming and it sounds like a stretch, so he's questions it. He reads tons of research from experts, educates himself on the topic and eventually comes to the independent conclusion that it's the most plausible explanation for climate change.

There's nothing wrong with asking questions. I think it's far more dangerous when people don't ask questions. Pharmacists of all people should understand this. We are trained to question everything.

Are you new to the internet? 😉

I don’t think very many people actually have an issue with questions or research. The issue is that ‘question’ becomes code for ‘not accepting facts’. You can literally see that happening in this thread.

Your going to trust The NY Times? I would rather consult Silky Johnson to stay up on current events.

You're.

And, yes, the NY Times is an internationally regarded newspaper. The only people that don't like it are right wing dip****s that don't like the facts that they publish. We are in a time where making obvious, fact based critiques of the least competent president since at least Warren Harding is apparently "showing bias."

Yea - your... that’s what I said...

Your comment about me being a right-wing dip**** biased, ignorant, and uncalled for. Similar to the NYT. Birds of a feather?

There are lots of internationally recognized organizations. This does not lend credibility in any way.

NYT is a quality news source. The majority of unbiased observers recognize this.

Again, a handy chart:

And if the NYT is an untrustworthy news source, what news sources do you rely upon, then?

This chart that gauges the bias of others, is quite possibly the most biased chart I have seen in a very long time.
