Prompt: What personal accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
Currently trying to prewrite for UCI (previously applied). Last cycle I wrote about my weight loss journey before college and how I learned a lot more about nutrition (this was actually one of the reasons for my interest in preventative care/evidence-based lifestyle intervention side of medicine -> currently actually volunteering at a shelter where I help create the nutrition curriculum for homeless mothers).

Since I'm reapplying I am planning on completely changing it. Right now I have a few options but just wanted feedback on which one would work best.

1) Was a director for a music service club that provides music education to schools without arts programs. After the pandemic, we had trouble coming up with events we could do/outreach. I helped create an event called instrument petting zoo and helped implement it for the first time and it was actually really popular with students in our org but also new students interested in it. After I graduated the club continues build upon this one event as one of the annual events they do. (only concern is that this like maybe 4-5 years ago).
2) Was like sort of an informal personal trainer for my best friend over the past year (drew on experience from my own weight loss). Pretty much helped him with creating exercise plans that would be sustainable on top of his work schedule. Drew on my passion for nutrition taught him like stuff like nutrition label reading, meals that are high volume/low calorie, small ways to make his favorite dishes more nutritious. Helped him lose 15 pounds and he still incorporating the exercise and meal plans today.
3) I volunteer at a food pharmacy which is primarily concerned with produce distribution for low-income families in the area around this county hospital. Over time, I've became close with some of the organizers of the event and they let me sorta lead informal mini-lessons on nutrition to the patrons there like label reading, creating recipe cards using the weekly produce, meals using minimal cooking equipment. It was really interesting to see that some of the patrons that come are also patients at the diabetes clinic at the hospital and they were really interested in the recipes I helped create. Since I also majored in nutrition in college it was cool to see how I could actually apply my passion in a real setting.
4) In high school, I was really into heavy metal and I actually got some friends together to try and form a band. Though it was more for fun we actually ended up performing at a talent show at my high school and even got invited to perform at a battle of bands performance held by the city's police department.
