Hey everyone. I recently graduated this May, and I'm taking a gap year to figure out what I want to do. I want to go into the military after school. I was wondering how the job market was for pharmacist in the military?

Were you in ROTC? OTS might get you up and running...but not in pharmacy...try the Coast Guard..they are cool but not in pharmacy it's a sinking ship...

Doesn’t exist. Maybe 1 or 2 max/yr per branch if they take any.
There aren't many but I don't think it's not quite this bad. The army selected 8 applicants last year, I believe the air force had similar numbers. The Navy does seem to only be 0-2 per year, though.

67E (Army pharmacist) is closed for FY20. You will have to compete with other people with experience, so don't expect it to be an easy route.

That's correct but also, you should be aware that ASD(HA), basically the boss of it all, is shrinking and civilianizing many of those positions. Also, due to background investigation requirements, a gap year is fatally unacceptable for commissioning right now. Find something else if you are doing a gap year.
