Hi I am planning on applying to a lot of philly area or close to philly programs since both my brother and sister live in and around the area. My grades will not be good for U of Penn and even Thomas jeff may be tough. But I still intend to apply. I am looking for hospitals that will have good teaching and where you see a wide variety of patients. Here are the programs I am thinking of:
Thomas Jeff
Penn state
Drexel
Temple
Penn Hospital
Lehigh Hospital
Albert Einstein
Reading hospital
I had a question regarding Penn Hospital. Someone told me that the program was disorganized. However, he told me this info is about 4 yrs old before it officially become part of the Penn Health system. Does anyone have more recent info regarding their IM residency. And how does it compare to university hosp like drexel or temple? I guess I have the same questions for lehigh.
And I just picked Albert Einstein and Reading hospital because they seem to be big tertiary care centers. Does anyone have any useful info on them?
Thanks in advance.
