Have any of you performed pain procedures on either of these new flat panel c-arms from Philips? It seems the large size of the II may interfere with extreme cranio-caudal tilts and bump against the patient. Is the image quality improvement significant?

I used the Veradius for a few procedures when Philips was testing it at my hospital about a year ago. Honestly, can't rally say it was much different than a regular c-arm. I did not appreciate a significantly improved (or worse) picture. The software may have been upgraded since then.

The "II" panel didn't have an impact on my routine procedures although I didn't really test its limits.

If you offered me one now I'd take it, but wouldn't pay extra for it. I think it's just the II that is different and it's not as time-tested as the regular II.

Sorry, not much help here. I don't know anyone who owns one of these...
