Same here...may 10 cannot come soon enough.

Gonna take it next semester, which will be my Junior year. Don't freak out about it, physics can be pretty cool! As long as you don't have a professor who hates pre-health students :scared:

physics is freaking rad. respect the physics and it will respect you.

LoL  Physics is indeed rad 😛

I took physics I my freshman year and two other physics classes my sophomore year.

I have to take physics in 3 and a half weeks (block system).... Physics with lab in 3 and a half weeks is gonna be rough, im dreadin it

Be 😎 , and you'll be alright. Keep the end goal in sight 👍

I will next semester. My school has the coolest math/physics professor in the world...I'm actually looking foward to it. 🙂

sick, anyways, can u split up the physics sequence over semesters, say one ur soph year and one ur senior year? or do they have to be in direct sequence?

Yes, you can split them up. People who aren't science majors do this a lot because they have to fit them in---when they can.

So... would most people be taking it either junior or senior year? Is it more common to be taken in junior year over senior year? My main concern is that I don't want to look like I'm avoiding it until after my apps are in. I'm actually looking forward to seeing if I can tackle the material, as it kicked my butt in high school 😛

pshht, i took mine freshman year. That class sucked, especially the E&M portion. Absolutely hated it.

More people here take it during their senior year. My dilema is choosing between calc based or algebra based....I'd really like that math minor.

I am taking the trig base physic. . . Only physic II and O-chem II left next semester.

Algebra based is probably easier. I took calculus based trig and it just didn't seem intuitive to me at all. Thank god there's only a limited amount of calculations that require calculus.

Last time I took calc was 11th grade in hs. And physics I did my senior year.

I'm not taking any physics or math throughout undergrad (thank you APs).

But most kids at my college take calc1 and 2 freshman year and general physics (not analyt) 1 and 2 sophmore year.
