I live in Michigan and these are my stats:
3.62 Overall
unknown science gpa
20 AA 20TS 20 PAT
4 letters of recommendations and pretty good personal statement.
450 hours of research, 108 hours of shadowing, 80 hours at hospital for autistic children, 60 hours habitat for humanity, and 60 hours at Huda Clinic.

Also, I know there are some schools that require you to take Calc..which I did but I got a C- so I don't know if I should even bother applying to those schools. And I have yet to take Gen chem 2, physics 2, and anatomy and physiology which I will be taking in these next two semesters of my senior year.

I know it's a lot guys, just bear with me that's why I am asking for all of your opinions. Because I know my stats are average and it's getting pretty late in the cycle! Any advice would be so very helpful! Good luck to everyone as well!

I counted 49 schools on that list, it's asking a lot to have people whittle it down for you rather than doing a bit of due diligence to select a realistic set of 15-20 schools to begin with. How did you put this list together?

I'm not in dental school, nor have I entered my application year, but I can tell you that UConn, CU denver, Oklahoma, U Kentucky, U Washington, Stony Brook, Ohio State, and UNC are pretty OOS unfriendly. Don't let this defer you from applying there, just a thought. And we cannot pick schools for you. Just as Feralis said, this is your decision. Pick schools that you want to go to. With your stats, I'd say pick a pretty good mix of private schools and and a few state schools. Read ScumbagSteve's application cycle guide. This is your decision! Your stats dont indicate that you need 50 schools to apply to.. I'd say around 10-12 would be a good number for you.

Lordy. I'd say start with http://dental-schools.startclass.com and see what schools are realistically within your stats. Also, as above, a lot of those are very tough to get into if you're OOS so take those out and see where you're at. Try and find about 12 in your stat range, and then a few safety and a few reach schools. That'll give you a better list that you can research more and see what you like.

Don't forget this is going to be a few years of your life, so you also have to consider things like where in the country do you want to live, size and environment of program, etc. It's not only about where your stats fit :) Ask yourself those questions to help you narrow your focus, then I agree with @ColoradoTeeth that you should see what's realistic. Applying to 2-3 safeties, 3-4 targets, and 3-4 reach schools will be plenty.
