hi

m just starting with my prep havent even got ece done yet,
was wondering is there any one from India who is not a perm resd US and applied to any school or got selected or going for interv

pls help do we have any chance

Hi, Dont worry about visa status..of course..u can get in a school. Start with ur NBDE prep..give ur toefl test..get ur credentials evaluated 1st.
search thro' the forum..all the details can be found right here..or go on ada site.

Once u get in a school..either u can change ur status to student visa..or remain on H4[assuming u r on H4]...

There are many who have got admission and even inerview calls even thought they are not perm. residents. Search for schools tht dont have this requirement..there are many..

go to "Links of interest for foreign trained dentist" on SDN..u will all the info u need there.

god bless u will start my evaluation process in dec when i get my MDS degree too do u think i should get it evaluated too from ece or i can just get my BDS VERIFIED and take original MDS degree when if and when i m invited for interview

Hi SPT,

In my opinion it is a good idea for you to send both BDS and MDS degree and transcripts for ECE evaluation...I presume you have not already taken your NBDE part-1....as you know this is the most important thing in this long process of getting admitted to an (ASP) Advanced Standing Program.... ECE evaluation is very simple...you need not worry about it...if you require urgently, you can get it done even in one business day (General evaluation report) or in five business days (All types of reports) but only thing is they charge a bit more than the normal evaluation which takes about 2-3 weeks...as you have an MDS , you definitely will have a little edge when you apply to ASPs...
