Podaitary 3-day internships and applying to podiatry school

I am wondering how much the 3 day internships at DMU, Temple, and NYCPM matter when it comes to applying. Has anyone who participated in one of these programs and admitted into a podiatric medical school?

I think these programs help you get a better feel for the school and whether it's right for you. You also get to meet people who may be part of your acceptance decision. I'm not sure whether the internship will get you into the program, but it certainly cannot hurt.

I went to OCPM's and DMU's internship and had such a great time meeting people, seeing the campus, and exploring the city. It was definitely worth it for me, and I just interviewed/got accepted at DMU as well.

Actually, they did ask how the internship went. You can find information for the internships on each school's website. I think there are also old threads that have the links on them.
