Day 1 A Predicament Near Palett Town​

A cacophony of Pokemon vocalizations disturbed the serenity of the clearing. A Pidgey squawked down at the others from the safety of her tree branches, anger born from fear overriding her usual pacifist nature. Years ago, her flock had been attacked by hunters. So many, too many of their number captured in cages in a single day, destined for who knows where. She had been lucky to escape. It was horrifying to see her new family being threatened, and even worse that the victims weren’t just being taken, but killed.

But worst of all was the knowledge that the chances of a human finding this place on their own were so slim. They were all so careful. They were all supposed to look out for each other. Recent events could only mean one thing: they had been betrayed. And they needed to find the culprits.

Their gazes turned quite abruptly on one who had been perhaps...too glib. Too joyful under the circumstance. Some might even say, too cute. I mean, look at this thing.

Heckin adorable. And yet, not to be trusted. The other Pokemon took hold of her by the end of her tail and...what is this? They had been mistaken! This was not the adorable creature they'd expected!

Look at how its cold, glowing eyes strike fear into its enemies...

But they were not afraid. They descended upon the unnatural Pokemon and banished it from existence, forever.

Dead is @genny, who was charading as Mew, but was in fact Mewtwo, Mafia.

This place they called home was tainted for them now. Perhaps it was time to move on. But not now, not when darkness was about to fall. For now they would settle in for the night, and hope to still be alive in the morning.​

NIGHT CLOSED, RESULTS PENDING...​

Night One

The battles that had broken out during the day left the Pokemon exhausted, but not without some benefit.

All surviving Pokemon have gained enough XP to reach level 7!

The light of the full moon was little comfort as they huddled in the forest they had long called home. They kept to themselves, full of distrust for creatures that had once been friends. The shadows seemed to move on their own through the trees, mocking their fear. And was that…no, just the wind in the leaves. But it really had sounded like a laugh. A terrible, ghastly laugh…

Some might call this little one disgusting, but they would be wrong. An adorable Caterpie inched along the forest floor, looking for a safe place for an important transformation. He found a dense bush surrounded by a patch of taller trees that seemed promising enough. After a few moments, his evolution was complete.

Well, he wasn’t quite as cute anymore, that’s for sure. But no matter, he was well on his way to greater power and strength! Sleepy and satisfied, he began to close his eyes. But his rest was disturbed by a quiet, forceful bark and something shaking the branches of his refuge. The shaking was so violent he couldn’t hang on, and he started to fall. He was caught before he hit the ground, but the relief he felt faded as he looked into the cold eyes of the creature who had caught him. Those eyes were the last things he would ever see.

As the moon slipped below the horizon, the Pokemon hoped the light of the sun would warm their chilled bones, but alas the day was gray and dreary. No longer confident in the cover of the forest trees, the group set out in search of a new safe place to call home, still wary of each other and bickering over who else might be helping their enemy hunt them down.​

Probably too chaotic? Also, your vote was a major swing since it was from me to genny, so it would have taken some fast thinking for any 2 wolves to move in time to counter it (and been pretty revealing if it happened)

Animal Midwife - Still feel good about my read here. My strongest village read.

samac - I’m seeing a lot of wild off the wall energy that I expect from village Samac. She’s asking the right questions and making the right pushes I expect from a villager.

Lawpy - His posts make sense. I mostly follow his logic. The stubbornness was frustrating but I don’t think Lawpy is a wolf.

Aprilthearab - Her push on Vis was genuine, and early. 100% a villager.

puppydogtor - Position on the vis vote was gold. Unless there’s some wacky bussing going on, this is a villager.

potentialsheltervet - PSV still feels like a noob villager. I’m not seeing anything that’s pinging me. Slight village read here.

SportPonies - Her position on the Vis vote cements this as a villager for me. I’m still freaked out by her asking for the vig to role reveal. For that she’s staying at the bottom of my village reads.

Neutral:
justafluff - Nothing useful from the vis vote to move Fluff one way or another. Vis’s lack of push here is concerning though.

Youngkal - I’m not seeing anything that makes me think this is a villager. BUT Vissy’s push here only makes sense if this is a villager. Neutral for now.

Wolfy:
violetvett - At this point I feel like I was played by the role reveal. I haven’t seen any posts that makes me think this is a villager. Very little concrete analysis that I feel good about.

Alleycat03 - I think I gave her too much credit for early game. Her latest pushes, me especially feels off and disingenuous. I think she was buddying up with me so that if she went down it would make me look bad. I’m disappointed I fell into this trap.

Melchizedek - April and AM in his POE should have been the last straw. His reads have made no sense, his pushes make no sense. This is a wolf and 100% where I’d be voting today. If Mel doesn’t flip wolf, just vote me out. I don’t want to deal with being this wrong and fighting off the misyeet all cycle.
