hmm, when i interviewed there in 2004 it seemed that OAG was the predominant group in northern oregon, not only in portland . the system seems to work like this that the value of all units is averaged and then payed out depending on the number of units you billed, so there seemed to be some semblance of fairness as people won't fight over better paying cases. i was told that OAG tries to rotate docs all over their hospitals , not only in portland but also in mcminnville, salem, corvallis, mount hood etc., etc.
the initial offer in 2004 was below 300 k for an average producer. idon't know how they do things now as i ended up in the southwest but it did'nt sound too bad then. somebody else has some insight? fasto

OAG has some rotating physicians going to different locations, but most will work at one hospital (Corvallis, Salem, one of the Portland locations, etc). I'd prefer the one hospital vs rotating, but that's just me, but you may prefer to see a variety of locations and then choose one. Blended unit, blended on a location level rather than group-wide blend. Large 200+ group. Very good group from what I hear. I'd have no problem working for them.
