So I was accepted into several post baccalaureate programs and I am having a hard time choosing the right one. If anyone was a student in these programs could you please tell me how your experience went and whether or not the program has helped you get into medical school? These are the programs that I was accepted into:
1. Drexel IMS
2. George Mason University Advanced Biomedical Sciences
3. NYMC Accelerated Track
4. Georgetown SMP
5. Rutgers Biomedical Sciences
6. UPenn Prespecialized Health Studies
7. EVMS One Year Medical Masters
8. TCMC
9. Temple-CST ACHS

I also interviewed with Temple for their LKSOM Post Bacc program and am just waiting to hear back.
Currently, I am leaning towards Temple-CST, because they have a linkage to SUNY Downstate vs. UPenn vs. GTown. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did Rutgers GSBS (Newark) and it was a great experience. Some med school coursework some just with grad students (easier), very easy to get on research projects and network with the school/admissions. Just graduated from NJMS now and am entering the competitive specialty I sought. Good luck

hey im thinking about applying to temple cst post bacc after graduation. could you share your stats if you dont mind?

I, too, am having a hard time deciding what premedical post-bac program to choose. I narrowed it down to UPenn Specialized Studies Program, Rutgers GSBS MBS, and George Mason's George Squared Advanced Biomedical Sciences program. I noticed you listed these as well! Have you decided where you will go by now? What helped you make the final choice? I ask because I have to decide so soon (two days) and any insight may help bring me some clarity! Thank you!

Hey so I actually ended up choosing Temple CST because of their close knit community of advisors, linkage possibilities, and rigorous curriculum. Temple is also located in a diverse area that could give me exposure to valuable clinical experience. In terms of the programs that you are choosing between, I would just consider their class size, curriculum, and opportunities for clinical experience.
For me, I ruled out the Rutgers MBS because it can run 2-3 years long and I feel that I would be in good shape to apply for next year. Both UPenn and George Squared seem like really competitive programs and pretty similar in what they offer so I think you would be in good shape no matter what you chose 🙂

Hi, I got my bachelor in psychology and my plan was to apply for MS/PhD. But I decided to go for the postbacc. The thing is I haven't taken any sciences throughout college. And now I'm confused whether I can do it, what if it is too hard and I end up dropping it. How challenging can it be for a non-science student? And if I apply for postbacc which school should I look for in NYC. Should I go for the online program?
