Just wanted a quick clarification on the proper protocol for sending thank you notes after an interview, is it usually sent as a literal document “note” attachment on the email, or would a regular thank you email without an attached document to the admissions office suffice? Thanks

I’ve sent all my thank you notes directly to my interviewers (either they gave me their emails or I got it from admissions/admissions directed me towards where I could find it). Some schools discourage thank yous or have specific protocols, so I’d keep that in mind!
