Psychiatry network fb group shill

There's this super large fb group for psychiatrists called the Psychiatry Network, group leader is an absolute shill for Talkiatry where any mention of criticism is met with ban for no reason.

Suggest others join the Psychiatric Physician Community instead, growing group and more freedom of speech

Yeah. Almost 15k psychiatrists in the Psychiatry Network group, and I've been seeing a lot more shilling for Talkiatry lately. A year or so ago I feel like there was good back and forth about Talkiatry there (I felt like mostly negative at the end of the day) but now of course, seems like all positive which is not a good sign. I'll check out the other group.... 2.5k members already so looks like you're doing pretty well so far.

Geez how much are they paying the group leader? These telepsych groups are one of the biggest reasons why our field keeps getting worse, at least for employees.

Yeah that groups gotten weird the main admin seems to be basically working for Talkiatry at this point if you look at the "Ad" posts she makes.

Again doctors just selling each other out. Head of Talkiatry also cashing out and making bank as they keep working on making their bar lower and lower....I remember in like 2020-2021 when their main selling point was it was an "all physician" telepsych group.

Yeah Christina Girgis - shes got some ego trip banning people without reason or criticizing talkiatry. Pretty ****ty to block your own colleagues from what could have been a good community and denying possible opportunities. Sad, so many sell outs these days.

I don't think it's an ego trip. "It is difficult to get a man (or woman) to understand something, when his salary depends upon his not understanding it!"
