Hello - anyone received any notification yet? I fully applied in September but haven't received any communication, not even something that confirms my application was received.

Hey! I had my interview on January 15th. I called the Admissions office today (4/1/25), and they told me they are still reviewing portfolios! I'm desperate at this point, but hopeful!

Hey! They didn't request my physical portfolio for the interview, but I took it with me anyways and they kept it 🙂 have you got any response yet?

Well they requested mine, they told me to avoid prejudging and took my physical portfolio,nope, after the interview they told me to expect their decision around April to may

Oh gosh! That's what they told me when I called on Monday. They are still reviewing portfolios! I'm hopeful I'll get in, but this wait has been eternal! 🙁

I applied to PHSU and Ana G Mendez dental schools and got rejected from both 🙁 I only got an interview invite from UPR. It was actually my first option, so I was happy 🙂 I applied to other schools in TX and FL but also got rejected. UPR is my last option this year, so my nerves are over the roof! I live in FL, US but was born and raised in PR. I believe they are listing me as out-of-state applicant.

Why rejected so fast? Their average dat is 16 according to adea

I was interviewed in March and they told me I would hear something mid to late April.
It is a long wait but trying to take one step and day at a time.

Interesting! I had to submit my digital portfolio through a link they sent me back in November 2024 via email; then I brought the physical one the day of the interview in January 2025.

I brought the physical portfolio without being told to — just wanted to be thorough — and they kept it. The secretary said they were reviewing physical portfolios this year as part of avoiding prejudging applicants, and my interviewers confirmed it was going to multiple committees. That’s when I realized the review process this cycle might be shifting back to more holistic consideration

Did they took your physical portfolio?

They kept my portfolio too
 
OMG! This is the last week of April, and I've been looking at my email a million times a day (terrified to miss an email in the Junk/Spam section), checking my mail every single day, and looking at my phone to see if I get a call. My heart is like beating so fast 😩

Haven't heard anything else. And I personally don't know any other person applying other than you and the other guy in this thread, so it's not like I can go around and ask. I did call the office of admissions the week before Semana Santa and they told me late April so, I guess it's any moment now 🙁

Maybe, other schools have already sent their decision so yea, very nervous now

Yeah, a lot of them have already. My move from US to PR, if accepted, shouldn't be crazy, so that's not even stressful for me lol 😀 I think it's more because of the unknown and the long wait 🙁 I had interviews with this school in the past, and by March I knew the outcome, so this is a little unusual for me.
