question about publication in a journal of sorts

Hey,

I just recieved conformation that I was accepted in a publication for a journal. It is a journal for physicans from austalia, and they had a history paper contest which I won. Can I list this on my resume/application under publications?

If it was published, then it is a publication.

In addition, if it was a contest and not a traditional publication, you may want to explain this in the activity description.
