Hey all...

SO while searching the forum I came across that PCAT no longer tested geometry..So I am guessing no triangle, circle, parallelogram problems?
But what about trig?

DO they ask questions with graphs and stuff...I was doing Dr. COllins guide and found some questions with graphs..?

Sorry for making a thread but I searched and some posts regarding this were old so I thought I should just start a new post since there could be changes in the format of PCAT since then.

people who took PCAT recently (july/sept) please post if you guys have any feedback..

thank you.anything from anyone is appreciated...:xf:

I took the PCAT in July and Sept.. I would say that the Math part varies a lot!! The Dr Collins material wasn't enough for today's exam.. Graphs are important!

know the basic properties of sin and cos graphs. There are a couple other graphs that are easy points like determining the relationship of graph (y increases as x increases, negative/positive correlation, etc.)

ya i find it kind of hard to believe about triangle questions ..

but i wanted to be sure because i read in one of the older post threads that they don't geometry so..

hoping someone who is familiar can give us insight on this.

Hey guys, careful, please don't discuss what was specifically on or not on the PCAT here.

That being said, I do know we covered cos / sin graphs and such in my Calc class briefly. I don't remember whether it was review, or for a proof, or just what - I just remember doing it. Triangles & graphs were definitely present in Trig.
