Did anyone else hear at their interviews at the top 20ish schools (or elsewhere) that this year has a fewer total number of applicants, but much more "competitive" applicants for the top 20ish schools. At Yale and Wash U they were saying how hard this year has been because of so many more "competitive" applicants.
I dont know if this has affected waitlist movement at the top 20 schools.... but I have noticed that some schools are having little or no movement so far on SDN. (Harvard, Wash U, UCLA, UCSF, Yale).
