Does the NPB 101 lab count as a biology lab? I'm thinking of taking that along with a microbiology lab (also biology 1b) so i can have a year of biology labs without taking botany. Thanks!

Yeah, according to this handout under "Course Requirements", NPB 101L counts.

Yes, it counts, I took it, it was fun. 🙂 I'm assuming you're getting out of bio 1C. . .lucky! My major (genetics) required it, and man, was that class boring! Dang phloem!

No worries, you'll get there! It's rough when you decide late that you want to go to med school. I didn't decide I wanted to go until after I graduated. As luck would have it, my major covered all the prereqs. . .except a year of English (I really hated writing papers). So back I went during my second year off to finish that up. It all ended up well and I'm an MS2 now. 😀
