I was thinking I might want to try applying to some additional, non-rolling medical schools, but looking at some of the websites, they say the "latest date for submission of AMCAS application" is Nov. 1. Does this mean I need to have just submitted my AMCAS to be verified by Nov 1st, or that I need to have added them to my list of schools specified on the AMCAS form by Nov. 1st? I hope that made sense.

Also, I was wondering if it even makes sense to be trying to apply to schools this late in the game, or if I should hold off until next year . . . if a next year should be necessary. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

i would say next year
even if u get in somewhere this year, you could probably get in somewhere better if you get in earlier
