i'm working on my secondaries and i need help on grammar. sorry, i am not a native english speaker. is it...."i have been dedicated to improving my application" or "i have been dedicated to improve my applicatoin"?. thanks.

Why don't you get it out of passive voice and say "I am dedicated to improve my application"? Active voice sounds better most of the time...depending on the context of the essay.

The one with "improving" is the correct choice. If you remove "dedicated to," it still makes sense.

Well, it's a matter of tense, isn't it? Not voice. "I have been dedicated" is present perfect continuous tense, whereas "I am dedicated" is present.

To make this particular phrase active, you could say, e.g., "I have dedicated myself to improving my application," which is an improvement because "I have been dedicated" makes the reader wonder who did the dedicating.
