I agree, I actually enjoy where this thread has gone. Maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe the boomers are going to retire soon! If you remember playing tecmo bowl and spending hours playing duck hunt, what does that make me?

Probably the same as me. But those were just iconic games that I'd happily play today.

I think I am a late millennial because I remember talking trash about them and somebody said I happened to be one. I wanted to cry but then realize there is a big difference between the older ones and the younger ones who nobody can stand... lol! I rather hang out with Gen Z.

If you "wanted to cry" then made an Insta post about it, then you may be too far gone.

I had a lot of older brothers I hung out with who were all Gen X so I know all about that. I was even introduced to Atari and can remember being blown away by the Tandy at RadioShack!

Get a room, y'all Gen X'ers.

Are Boomers even allowed to use Ghee?

What’s the point of life without ghee?

Just end it.

Get your popcorn ready, the ROhub show is back on

Will get to it after finish rewatching 2nd episode of tiger king

I have seen way too many meme references to this show. Guess I gotta check out. And whoever Carol Baskin is.

I feel like I've aged 10 years in the past week as there are memes I don't understand anymore.

Social structure in these zoos are not all that different from radonc academic departments.

nobody i know would be caught DEAD at a VA. Would not ever touch it. I leave that for DREW
Personally, I am fortunate to spend some of my clinical effort caring for the men and women whose made sacrifices on our behalf. There is great need in our VA system and I am grateful for the opportunity care for these men and women.

Yea, I noticed that as well. I take it to mean that 120 MDs initially than most of the SOAP was MDs as well bring it upto a high total MD amount.
Let's see how many of them actually start in July 2021.

Esp after the covid/tele-supervision bombshell that has probably going to hurt anyone who hasn't signed yet.... And maybe even some of those that have

This could get interesting....?I presume places like MDACC and MSKCC don't take uninsured patients?

This is crazy to me coming from an academic center in training that took on all the train wreck uninsured and now out in community comprehensive cancer center where I treat a lot of uninsured indigent.

MSK's entire business model is stealing patients from other full service hospitals and health systems with direct to consumer marketing followed by the ole' wallet biopsy. I'm happy to see them get called out for what they are on Twitter.

Issue with these sort of statements is they have the opposite effect, Nixon style, “i am not a crook”. Turns out you are a crook, and will in fact steal your patients. These cancer centers get so much government funding and do not treat the uninsured. They should lose all funding until this changes.

I dump toxic and radioactive waste in the river behind my house, but i am a good environmental citizen because I recycle a few soda cans. This is danger of tokenism- a few minor acts of good will to mask the badness.
