I just got my acceptance too. 🙂Both, I got an email telling me I was approved, and I also got a notification telling me as well on my app.

As long as you get receipts for all of them, you're good. I'm guessing you mean secondary fees, and you will get receipts for all of them, even if it's not right away. Wait until tomorrow to contact the schools I'd say. Since you submitted last night, the confirmations should come today.
Not sure, but if anything, you can send the schools you applied to an email explaining what happened, with a word doc/PDF attached of how it's supposed to be. Then they can just add that to your application file.
Hmm not sure why it says that. No, they don't have a secondary app, just the fee.Why does it on here, it says Columbia has a secondary app -> ADEA’s Quick Guide: Advising Predental Students
However, I can't find it on their site or anywhere else. So does Columbia have a secondary app?
Once submitted, you're placed in a queue to have your transcripts verified and GPA calculated. Once complete, you'll receive an email that your app has been verified. After submitting the AADSAS app, does GPA verification start right away? When they start verifying GPA to when GPA is finished verifying, will we see a change in status on our app?
I didnt fill it out and got accepted so should be fine haha.Hello! In the AADSAS application, specifically for Case Western questions tab they ask: Answer the following questions regarding any assistance you received in considering and applying to the CWRU School of Dental Medicine.
The questions ask I've contacted the school, like who I've contacted, and how.
If I haven't contacted any recruitment, but I am interested, should I bother applying to the school? Is it just a survey, or is this something I should consider before applying? Thanks for any input!
I wouldn't bother, I think you're fine.Certain schools have an area of the application which allows you to explain any grades that are below a "C." So I have a silly question, my lowest grade is a C+ I got in Gen Chem II Lab, should I use this space to explain that grade, or since I have a C+ and not a C should I not bother? Thanks.
As long as you’re certain the actual letters will be included in the packet, you should be fine. I contacted Midwestern about this and they said as long as the committee packet includes the full letter and is submitted through AADSAS it’s totally okay and the letter doesn’t need to be sent separately. So a lot of the schools that I'm applying to want a committee letter and a dentist LOR. I'm a bit confused about this, however. My school required me to submit to them 2 science LOR, 1 dentist LOR, and a questionnaire so that they could prepare a committee packet on my behalf. So I'm fairly certain that this committee letter includes my other three letters(including the dentist's). So do I need to enter a separate letter request for my dentist on AADSAS, or do I only request the committee packet from my university? I don't want admissions to receive more than the necessary amount of letters, but I also don't want my dentist's letter to not be included. Thanks.
Depends on the school. The ones with secondaries immediately available review based on that. Those that send out secondaries review based on AADSASSo schools review applications based on who submitted first..does that mean a general submission, i.e. I submitted my application and transcripts to be finalized OR when I apply to that specific school?
That sounds like everything to me.I just wanted to triple check. After submitting my app through AADSAS, my LORs are in, and my supplemental fees are paid, then theres nothing else I can do to forward the app process without being contacted first, right? I just want to make sure that I'm not missing some big step.
I've been accepted but opened my app from last cycle to remember how it looks and all, but all my experiences (shadowing included) are still there under "Supporting Information" -> "Experiences" and it's allowing me to either edit or delete an experience. It will only show up if you applied last cycle- if you typed everything up but never submitted, it won't be there. If you did apply, then they should be there. If that isn't the case for you, then contact ADEA.Hey guys,
I applied all of my info from last year into this year's application, but I can't seem to find my shadowing experiences anywhere to update them.... Am I stupid or just blind?
Yup. I think they get a notification that so and so has submitted an application, and that's why they forward their websites/information to pay the supplemental, but they haven't actually received your full application (the one you download under "Check Status") until ADEA verifies everything.Do schools only receive our AADSAS app after GPA verification is complete? The status on my apps says "complete" but seems like only one school received it so far. Another school called and said they haven't received my AADSAS app yet.
For reference, I applied last cycle to the first three, and submitted supplementals as soon as I was asked to.Has anyone received any email regarding supplemental fees for BU, Tufts, Rutgers, or Temple? All of my LORs, Transcripts, and DATs scores are received and my app was submitted on 6/6. I haven't heard a peep from those schools yet.
Have you received a confirmation email from any schools yet that they've received your application? I don't think that Temple start reviewing apps until July sometime. Based on last year, people weren't getting emails until July 12th.Has anyone received any email regarding supplemental fees for BU, Tufts, Rutgers, or Temple? All of my LORs, Transcripts, and DATs scores are received and my app was submitted on 6/6. I haven't heard a peep from those schools yet.
Oh my god thanks for recommending this, haha. I have been cilcking into each item and never even thought about doing this.Ok, so earlier I posted about a mistake I made, thankfully I was able to amend it. For anyone applying, this may be common knowledge, but I didn’t realize it. My advice is to proofread your application via the PDFs you can access under the check status section. Just download a PDF and proofread there. It has everything as the adcoms are going to see it, and much easier to spot grammar errors and in my case, whole missing sections. Best of luck to you all!
Do schools receive your application after e-submitting or only after everything is verified? I thought it was only after everything is verified but when schools email requesting supplemental fees, have they actually received the app or have been notified that it's coming?
Does AADSAS mail out our applications or is everything handled electronically?

As long as AADSAS has your official scores, you're good.So I applied yesterday to 3 schools I didn’t originally send my DAT scores to. I’ve emailed them and I’m waiting for a response but do I need to send them through my ADA account or will it suffice if AADSAS received my official scores and they’re included in my application?
Uhmmmmmmm this is a tricky question because you weren't supposed to have seen your letters- they're confidential. I think this is asking if you would like to see it when your recommender uploads it...and you should say yes I waive my right. It can negatively affect your app because schools might think that your recommender wrote a nice but not truthful letter only because you would be able to see whatever your recommender uploaded.Hey guys, for the Evaluations portion, when you create a request, the Waiver of Evaluation part: *I waive my right of access to this evaluation. Yes/No.... 'Yes' if you haven't seen it and 'No' if you have seen it? Does marking 'No' aka I have seen it, negatively affect your application?
Okay awesome, thanks! I really didn’t want to pay an extra $100+ if I didn’t need to lolAs long as AADSAS has your official scores, you're good.

I'm not exactly sure but this is what I found on SDN: Still confused about sending DAT scores
Have you received a confirmation email from any schools yet that they've received your application? Only Touro sent me a confirmation email.
Perhaps I misunderstand your question, but when you link the DAT scores to your application, it has you put in your DENTPIN, which should automatically link your scores to the application, and hence to the schools. If you did not select those schools when you initially signed up for the DAT, then I think there is an additional fee, but I don’t know what that is or how it would be paid, I just had it sent to all schools in case I changed my mind as to where to apply.I
I went to this link but it's from 2013 and I want to have the most current answer possible. I'm taking my DAT in a couple of weeks so no scores have been sent out. When applying for the DAT, I selected more schools than I'm actually applying to for the scores to be sent to, but also added more to my app. Will I have to send out more score reports? Does it matter that I'm sending these even if the scores will be on the AADSAS app anyways?
Do I have to match the pre-req with the schools exactly?
Like it says it wants a 4 credit biochem course for Touro College. However, my biochem was only 3 credits. So what should I do?
Put all three quarters. Usually when schools ask for two semesters, you put all three quarters. If they ask for one semester, usually you're going to have to put two quarters down. The prerequisite section for NYU is based on semester system I believe. It asks for Bio 1 and Bio 2. If we went to a quarter system school, should we just put Quarter1 & Quarter2 bio into the Bio 1 section.. and put Quarter3 bio in to Bio 2?
Nothing can be changed. You can only add new experiences/licenses/achievements/etc, but you cannot edit anything you've submitted. You'll also be able to add in your unofficial DAT scores as long as you've indicated you're taking the DAT sometime later this summer. What can be changed after the application is submitted?
Yes you can, but you won't be able to change requests if a letter doesn't come in (I think).Does anyone know if we can submit our primaries before all our letters of rec are in?
Different schools have different policies. Some will contact you to pay the supplemental. Some require you to proactively pay it through a link on their websitesThis was probably asked already but once you submit, should you wait to be contacted by the schools in order to pay the supplemental fees?
