Dude, you are my opposite. I hate the PS section and you hate the BS section.

Disclaimer: No jokes about BS meaning bull$h1t.

Moving on....

I seem to be getting through BS sections like nothing, but the PS sections keep slowing me down for some reason. I hope after I finish my TPR science workbook and In class compendium and doing more Kaplan tests cuz they drill the concepts well into your head, that it will be easier for me to keep time on the PS.

I just can't study for the BS section since it bores me to tears. Tears! Mostly it is very basic stuff that has been hammered into our heads since HS. I really need to just focus on the physiology portion. That's where I lose most of my points.

Secondly, I am finishing the BS section with like 30 minutes left. I think I need to slow down and make sure I think through the Q and A's before moving on.

Bio was always my fastest section too, and on the real mcat i went way too fast thinking i was going to run out of time, I am sure I made tons of stupid mistakes on it because I ended up not thinking through the questions long enough.

I think the number one most important thing to remember about the MCAT is not to let test day freak you out. I just wish I could go back and not be as flustered as I was on test day. I kept having that, "oh crap this is the real thing" thought all day.....dont ever let that pop into your head, and if it does beat it off with a stick!

new york courts ruled that the state does not have to allow same sex marriages. the law would have to change in order for them to be able to get married.

so MA is the only state that allows it.

how long will it take before same sex marriage will happen do you think? ten years? fifty? never?

Just tell me it doesn't smell like dead fish!!!!!!!!! I couldn't even walk near Lake Michigan, up here in Wisconsin, because of the nasty smell. The water looked gorgeous like something out of a painting.

But the smell was just nasty!!!! I've never been to beaches in the north, and wonder how they are in comparison to a tropical beach.

PS: good news...got an e-mail from USF saying they got my application and they wanted me to review the MCAT/GPA min requirements and e-mail them back to request a secondary package. 🙂

crazy. if i was on a summer break i'd help you guys take it out in a week but i've got way too much stuff to do. i'm half way though this rotation and havent really started studying for my shelf exam yet in 3 weeks. not too worried since most i've talked to are in the same position but yeah, A's got some catching up to do.

it's happened in MA and they act as if it hasn't. kinda strange, really. at my bf's work, i could join his gym if we were same-sex partners, but b/c we're opposite sex, we would have to be married in order for me to join. how is that fair?!?

Hmmm I want to try some new but I like pinot grigo and shiraz. I've had a few others I like but I have forgot them. I get great wine in restaurants but they never taste the same in the stores.
