It's mostly italians and asians. They do speak English but my office is in a trailer off the beaten path so I dont get to talk to many people.

Now on the public transportation....I'm definitely the only one who speaks English.

sorry brett, i know how much nicer things are when you have a friend to get you though the days. my peds rotation would be impossible without my friends.

i'm guessing from philadelphia where their offices are. if it went in the mail on wednesday i hope it'll be in south fla by saturday. if not, early next week for sure.

my student affairs office already knows my score though, the NBME releases it to our med schools online. i dont know if the office will release it to me tomorrow but it might be worth trying, i just dont want to find out from the dean of student affairs if its not a good score.

P.S. - I hope you're not serious about pre-allo. I don't see anything cringe-worthy at the moment.

ok get this m&m, i leave the hospital last night at 1230, get home at 115. i had to be showered and gone from my house by 530 so that gave me about 4 hours home. instead of sleeping i read up on my patients condition on up to date and went through my admit note like 3 times and picked out anything i didnt know so i could find out more about it. i had to present to the wards attending (also the course coordinator!) today for the first time so i wanted to be ready. they guy kept asking me questions on my patient today that i would have never known had i slept and not read up, i was literally told to "teach" meningitis on the spot to the rest of the group. ie, a resident, intern , and like 10 med students. things like how to distinguish between viral and bacterial, labs, epidemiology, PE maneuvers, etc... i have never been more happy in my life to have skipped a night of sleep. 🙂 i wasnt able to answer everything he asked me but i was able to answer most and i think i showed him i put in the work.
