I hate hate hate those new Mac commercials with the "cool" guy Mac vs. the "nerd" guy PC. They just cross the boundry of obnoxious, not to mention they are on all the time :meanie:

Yeah we could use some rain down south too. No matter how much I water the garden, the flowers are still wilting.

i just went to see the penguins at the aquarium this weekend. they are SO cute!

I haven't seen the real-live penguins in a while.... I should go. We have 2 big ole' grizzly bears at our zoo, too. They're monstrous! Huge claws. Hmm. Maybe it's Zoo Time!

ok, maybe it's Zoo Time when it's not so damn hot out. I think we hit 100 on temp alone yesterday.

The power's out in town this morning. The hospital is running on emergency generators, so there is no AC and hardly any elevators. 🙁

My research boss goes to Antarctica for his research every few years. When they go, they have to fly to the tip of Chile before entering the govt boat that takes them the U.S. Stations at Antarctica.

Anyhow, they always see penguins in the tip of Chile and he tells me they smell like anything. They are pretty to look at but they stink soooooooo much.

I had to do an animal behavior group project for my bio class last year, and since our zoo is free ( 😍 ), it was no problem for everyone to go there to get data. The zookeepers specifically told us to not study the penguins' behavior b/c "they're the stupidest animals alive". 😡

Our group observed the breeding behaviors of ring-tailed lemurs. 👍

Dang it, I'm still sick. I'm not going to calc class again today b/c I'm hacking up my lungs 😡 I could tell the girl next to me yesterday was uncomfortable as heck when I was trying to take my quiz and sneezing, coughing, and blowing my nose pretty much all overher since we're packed in tight.

I'm missing the harder sections, too. It sucks that I have to sit at home and try and figure them out on my own when I should be watching Oprah and Jerry Springer letting my mind veg.

Meg, sorry you feel so bad. Any idea what it is? Some sort of Randomite Disease that Mushy started? Gosh people! Don't sneeze on me!
