Welcome to Part 6! Everyone did a bang up job by hitting 10k in less than 12 days--11 days 19 hours and 18 minutes to be exact. A new record! 😀

For those not familiar with what we do here, Molly has been kind enough to put together a nice description.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

i always get 5 or 6 hours. i don't even know if i could sleep longer anymore--i just automatically wake up early. over the summer i was going to bed at like 3 or 4 in the morning and getting up at 11 or 12

BTW cbc = canadian broadcasting corporation 🙂

actually, the 'bc' part = blood count. not sure what the first part means. but think it may be complete

:wow: I like to have 12 hours if possible, but it always ends up around 9-10.

Do you have NBC, CBS, ABC, etc? When donut was here (where the hell did he go?), he was watching the Emmy's, which had exclusive rights from ABC.

I get ABC quite well (I'm close enough to the NY border). CBS I only get when the weather is good...good old rabbit ears. I think they have the Emmy's from CTV (Canuckian TV), but they must have to buy the rights from ABC, because I'm sure I could watch it if I wanted to...however, I don't have that kind of attention span 😉 But if you get sattelite, I think you can get some of the US stations in some packages

Speaking of the States and Canada, there was a website where you put each State onto a borderless map of the US. I got them all right. I tried it for Canada and got them all wrong. 😕 There are like 8 or 8 of "states" or something up there? I couldn't even attempt the Europe map. So man freakin' tiny Eastern block nations. 😡

LOL, well there's a Niagara Falls Ontario too. Or you could have gone to St. Catherine's. Both pretty smallish cities.

What? I went to Niagra Falls! You know, the water fall...there's a bridge you drive over after showing your passport and whatnot. There was a McDonald's there. That might narrow it down.

A black Jaguar XJR was driving behind us. That's all I really remember. And a large casino tower on the Canada side. Looked to be made out of cheap metal siding the entire 20+ floor height, no joke.

3 Territories: Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut


Just don't ask me to name the 50 states and 2 territories

We did a play in elementary school. Something called like "Fifty Nifty United States and 13 American Colonies..."

I was North Carolina.
