I can see myself joining a club of interest once I know what specialty I'm in to. My first year - no way. I need to establish good habits, esp. since I'm a big procrastinator.

Ha - I'm talking as if I'm already in. This is in hopes of!

I found one club that I ended up loving and became the programming chair for and that just totally sucks away your free time. I don't know how people organize that stuff for a living... my life was almost taken away by just doing it for a club 😱

yeah i get that a lot especially since I've "come out" and have been telling people I'm applying this year.

i have to laugh at myself when I talk all big about med school - I have to keep reminding myself I need an acceptance first! But thanks you guys for the votes of confidence 😉

Specialties: Gas, Neuro, ENT, maybe Derm, Rads, Psych. I just tell people I'll figure it out when I go through rotations.

I think people expect me to say "Peds" because of the work I do, but it's very very low on the list 🙂

People expect me to say peds too - you know because I have kids. I have trouble tolerating my own kids most days and I can't stand other people's kids!

That and I've pretty much already eliminated any specialty that works with contagious people all day. Kids are the ultimate petri dishes.

i liked the diene too. i vaguely remember it when i was an SDN newb and chuckling at it and then immediately being really sad because of realizing how big of a nerd i've become 😛

I don't have the chem software installed on this computer, but maybe I will install it and redraw the diene. If Bratboy messes with my avatar again, I'll kick his little derriere. 😉

A square in three dimensional format is able to be rotated. On a grid, physical coordinates of pretty much anything can be determined. How about on a map of the earth? Maybe in one's mind eye high and middle and low ... ahhh john

I just visit www.slickdeals.net but it's not electronics-specific...but when a good deal on electronics comes out, it'll be there. The slickdeals forums are good to search within too.

Of course I'm going, it's a huge game, determining who's #2 in the SEC and whether we have any hope of being ranked again. Regardless of the outcome though, I won't be rushing the court again.

I'm done with this game. Down 13 at the half and I'm turning off the TV. I hope we lose the rest of our SEC games. Our guys need to be smacked in the face hard to realize they need to stop playing like *****s.
