I'm totally old-school. I like to see my week laid out before me in one fell swoop. So rather than a PDA (or similar) I have a big 'ole appointment book. Helps me see things broken down hour by hour each week, get a feel for when I have *gasp* free time. Then I go all OCD/anal and use highlighters- orange, hospital work.. yellow, in class.... blue, an exam....

I get made fun of by some of my colleagues for doing it the pen/paper way, but I have to say- my appointment book has never crashed and all my info lost. 😉

I started using Microsoft Outlook Calendar. I print in weekly view so it lays out my week ahead and it has a column for notes as well as plenty of room for daily notes.

T sorry to hear it didn't work out at some schools but you have great options at your other schools. What school was it out of curiousity?? It is their loss. You'll do fine wherever you end up. 🙂

Not as short as I'd like to go eventually but still a decent first step. Nothing special.

I'm old school too. I don't think I'll like Google Calendar but I'll give it a shot. I love just about everything else at Google. Google reader has totally rocked my world 😉

Reminds me of this one hairdresser who was almost wincing when she was cutting my hair. I could understand if I was chopping it all off, but it was just a trim! Very strange. Wrong profession for her I think

this, btw, is why I now go to the person I do. first person EVAR to actually take risks with my hair and say "no, that'd look like crap. we need to do THIS" 👍 my hair has never looked better.

Speaking of penguins....I will be getting one (and possibly two....two!! 😀) 4-foot tall penguins done by a local artist tomorrow.

Complete with pink tiara and feather boa. :laugh:

he's a whiz with color. he's happy to tell you about that, too. 🙄 mine was as dark as yours when we started this mess. I've been shades of blond highlights, red, deep deep chocolate brown, and everything in between. my hair's been caramel, butterscotch, honey, chocolate... all the good stuff! :laugh:


🙁 one of my pts just called me at 11:30. not doing well. might be time to go to the hospital. 🙁
