I know. It was a good game. SIU really should have pulled it together and won. A few missed layups and bad refereeing.

I saw 2 goaltendings that weren't called against Kansas and a jump ball that should have been a foul. Plus just an overall physical game.

At one point we were up by 7, and I think the bookies were freaking out! Seriously, everyone I know that's not a Saluki fan expected Kansas to blow us out of the water. I think we at least proved to everyone that we can run with the big dogs.

We're only losing 2 this year, so next year should be awesome, too. And since we lost, we're keeping Lowery as our coach.

So proud of my Salukis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍

(I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that mine is a little darker than yours.. It's apparently 2 tones of red highlights, but my hair's so dark I can't tell the diff between them.. but it's definitely red. -ish.)

Yeah, mine's generally a lighter red anyway.

On a side note, my husband is in the dog house. Since rugby started he thinks it's ok to hit the ATM every week for a significant withdrawal. And then he gets PO'd when I try to tell him we're not made of money. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

meg 🙁 this year's NCAA tourney has been too boring. So far in the Elite 8, it's two #1 seeds and two #2 seeds. yippie, how exciting. 🙄

After SIU missed that open layup and the missed put-back, I knew it was Kansas' day that day. Same with Tennesse's missed layup. I still want OSU to lose...

Yeah I was pretty POd at SIU for the missed layups. I forgave the bobbling in the beginning because I knew they were hella nervous.

But it was an exciting game overall. But, since SIU's out, I'm done with the tourney.

You should have heard me yelling at the bar.

"The refs suck KansAss!"
"Miss it you jayc*ck!"

My best friend of over 12 years had never seen that side of me....

I was getting really pissed off during the SIU and OSU games. My friend said I was getting really angry, lol. Wait til he sees me tonight during the UF game! 😀

I don't think any OSU fan can understand what it feels like to hear for 37 days how our team can't compete. How we don't belong. That comes from the OSU fan base (one of the largest in the country) and 24/7 on ESPN. I was ecstatic when Michigan got destroyed and by my school's performance on OSU. 🙂 That has carried over to the bball season. I wouldn't mind a rematch. I was rooting for Tennessee. A fellow SEC school. 🙂

i was getting pretty angry at OSU for sucking so much in the first half. I had them winning in my bracket that's pretty much done for. But the vols had it in the bag and blew it 😡

Don't tell penguin, but that's still up in the air. If I do go to WashU though, there's no way in hell you could even pay me to live in their med student dorm. It's worse than anything I've ever seen undergrads forced to live in.

I forgot to say, I'm a noob. Apparently I didn't realize UF was going to play in St. Louis for the Sweet 16 game and (possible) Elite 8 game. Had I known, I would've planned to make it out there and possibly meet jlw. 🙁 I dropped the ball. 🙁

no news from them yet. i tried emailing both the MD/PhD program (several different people), calling the MD/PhD program office, and emailing the MD program. I did all this last week. I still haven't heard anything. Haven't received any rejection letter, either, though. so I'm just confused at this point.

Don't worry, I'm definitely leaning that way; it's just that I'm open to being bought by others. I just hope WashU ends up being the highest bidder come May 15.

PS Does that basement have an internet connection? I think sharing a single connection would seriously impact our post-whoring.

Sorry PB&J. I think its tough cuz they really are selective when it comes to out of staters cuz there are just so many people in state that get priority since its a public school.

But on the bright side, you've got a great offer from the midwest in Illinois and you got the possibility of a few other opps if you get off waitlist.

Sorry about your app cycle too. Oh and I could care less for USF football. I used to be a 'noles fan but now I'm a gators fan cuz my bro went there for undergrad and almost finished a grad degree there.

I'm not really into USF sports cuz its nothing that established.

I really feel for you. I'm still tallying my expenses, but unforeseeable money issues caused me to miss my last 2 payments. So I forsee several zeros behind an integer for what I'm going to owe. All I have to say this year is thank god I'm married.
