I have had two interviews this week, which while interesting and enjoyable, have been exhausting. Tomorrow I have a neuro test which I think I have a very high likelihood of failing.

Things are evolving in the Wolverine's favor so far.

Iowa beat Wisconsin knocking them out of the Big Ten race.
Now, Michigan State has to beat Penn State to give the Lions their second loss...of course, Michigan has to beat the Buckeyes (highly unlikely this year based on watching OSU's play this year but one can always hope...plus, home field advantage will be huge!).

I've been averaging one 30-minute CP conference talk per month since residency started, because I've been on CP all this while - with no end in sight!

It's a local audience (vs. say a regional/national conference), but all this holding forth on a new topic in the Specialty Of The Month that you only peripherally understand as a first-year.... grrrrrrh.

Plus this time it's about bloodbank. Fascinating fascinating bloodbank.

At least after Tuesday I won't have any till February. At which time I get to talk about clinical chemistry. Whoopee!

Yeah, I don't think this is going to happen. MSU is really on a downward spiral. They got utterly embarrassed by Minnesota.

The only thing the Sparties have going for them is that they're playing at home. MSU might have a chance if they pull their ground defense together...they need to step it up and make a difference.

Their secondary just blows though. Fortunately, PSU doesn't have a very impressive passing game.

We'll see what happens.

But the bigger game...is Michigan vs. OSU!
