I get it, but disagree 😎 Drinking some tequila right now, actually.

I hear ya. I need to hit the bottle hard soon. I want an addition before I enter medical school- adds depth to my character

My friend fell asleep in class during his first day of med school classes yesterday, and was scolded afterwards by the professor. What a long semester that could be.

Um, I don't have facebook. I'm too f-ing old for that $hit. I graduated in '03. Why can't you send me the link to your facebook page so I don't have to pretend to have an account? I know this works. DoctorPardi's does for me and I don't have facebook. PM it. Or Erina, HELP!
I prefer facebook now to myspace. Myspace is too buggy and way too "out there". Some people are just ridic on myspace with their blinging pics and stupid icons. Just my rant 😳

I have contemplated destroying myspace for that reason. And I'm way too out there publically on the internet. I prefer low profiles, ya know 😉

I agree, myspace had WAY too many people and it is way too easy to make a profile. I get weird stalker people messaging me all the time... that's not even close to the degree my GF gets myspace stalked.

luckily that just started with me when I started. You need personal information in order to add me so I guess that turns people off. Plus I don't add strange people like here on SDN 😛

Wow. I can sympathize with the falling asleep bit, but on the first day????

He did have a somewhat decent excuse. A good friend of ours was getting married in Dayton on Sunday (with the reception on Sunday night). He had a 7 hour drive to get home after the reception, so sleep was at a minimum that night. As I said, he got scolded after class but there were no repurcussions. The professor did say, however, that if it happens again, there will be serious consequences (to which I thought, "WHAT?! You're actually going to monitor wakefulness in med school classes? People skip or sleep during those all the time!").

Ah. I can understand that. 🙂

You're a girl?!

Dude, check her profile. I wonder if she's pre-med.

There isn't any indication that she (I'll accept her assertion of gender) is.

What??? Yes I'm premed. I'm doing a postbac right now and taking the MCAT to bring up my Verbal score that screwed me over last year right now. What's your issue with me??

Severus said:
No way. Not a chance in hell.

Huh what's going on??? Was that directed at me or you?? I'm confused now. Or was that sarcasm? Because I've not been really keeping up with every single post.

Man, I should have gotten like so much crap done tonight. But no... it's an impromptu Jane Austen movie-marathon sleepover night.

Colin Firth v. Alan Rickman Celebrity Deathmatch.

*yes, and before someone slams me for it, I'll admit... I am a dork*

We take no issue. You communicate with unparalleled clarity 🙂

I was totally joking with Dallenoff. No way.. you're not a girl and you're certainly not pre-med. 😉 No matter what you say.

I would never have made such a claim! Have you checked out Mulholland Drive yet?

"Now wiat, we're a little drunk, and my friends just closed the window."
Oh ****, not the window! :scared:
"Now wait, wtf? I am ******ed?"

 😎

Does one of them really have to die? I'll take whichever one you don't want, truly. 🙂

Well, maybe it's not a total waste. I was able to recycle my "I'm the first to gradumucate college" essay for Dartmouth. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

I Netflixed it, but it hasn't arrived yet. Maybe tomorrow. 👍

Certainly an acceptable response 👍 What are the Jane Austen movies you're occupying yourself with?

I should try to hunt down the ol' movie of "The Fountainhead." I always wanted to see what they did with it as a film.

EDIT: Speaking of recycling essays, I was pretty pleased to recycle my Pittsburgh diversity essay for Stanford earlier today. Recycling helps to save our planet.

HAHAHA... you were sooooooooo talking to my friends by that point in time. I'm not sure though if it was my boss or my roomie, though.

It was not fun. The air conditioner could only do so much when it's 110ish outside, so between the heat and the um... refreshments...yeah. :barf: 😳

It's cute when you try to cover your tracks. But now all I care about is pizza. OUT!

Well.. we're watching the A&E production of Pride and Prejudice and comparing it with the new version. Then it's Sense and Sensibility, to maybe be followed by Persuasion.

I've not heard about The Fountainhead. I might have to see if I can't dig it up.

Oh, I know. I've used the same-ish theme for Baylor, Cornell, Pitt, JHU, Dartmouth, WashU, and now Stanford. It works... I just trim or add some as needed. Recycle, reduce, and reuse.

So, I should be writing RFU's LIFE IN DISCOVERY essay, and I'm....not.

I don't know why I am being so lazy about this. I got it on 8-1. It has been a whole week. I am slacking hard-core.

From what I've read and heard, Ayn Rand was pretty personally involved in the making of the movie from her novel, so it should stay true to the ideals portrayed therein. It just isn't a movie that's readily available at a Movie Gallery kind of place.

It was at RFU that my friend fell asleep in class yesterday, the first day of classes. I suppose his attempt at discovery could have been seeking cracks in his eyelids.

EDIT: Apparently they hook up their first year students with 10 hr/week lab jobs that pay $30/hr.

PFfffffftt... sounds like me and Columbia. 🙄 Or Brown... or Case Western/Cleveland Clinic.

I'm so lazy when it comes to writing. It amazes me that I was ever a religion major... how was I able to consistently BS so much? 🙄

Severus said:
Hmmmmmmmm... if I absolutely had to choose... I'd take Rickman. You shall have your Firth. 😉

I can't say I'm disappointed... it would have been a close call for me, too, but I think I'd have come down on the side of Colin.

Yeah, I hate that. I'm always looking for weird movies that no mainstream place has. 👎

It's ironic that BA degrees are more conducive to BS.

The only secondaries on which I'm procrastinating are those that require me to print things out. Yarrr.... keep it electronic, people.

Everybody wins!!!

*sigh* I'd just want the man to read to me.

Confession: He totally says my name in S&S, and boy, I ALWAYS rewind that a bit just to hear it a couple times. The Voice of God is sooooo sexy. 😳
