I don't rant often but this has me perplexed ...
I injured my hip 2 weeks ago (sports related) and it's gotten worse with rest, ice, and NSAIDs. I called my hospital's sports med ortho office to make an appt and was told they don't do hips, uh what? They transferred me to the regular ortho office where their voicemail said they specialize in hip replacements. Umm, I'm 28 years old

). Ever since that long run on Sunday I've got sharp pain in my groin with each step on top of the dull ache I felt when it started. This is my 4th day of no exercise with no improvement. At this point I think it's unlikely that I'll be running the rock n' roll marathon in June, which makes me really really really sad and confused because I've run marathons before and have never had hip issues. I have an appt with ortho on Monday morning.
