So this is kinda stupid, but really annoying. Up until this year the school hasn't policed the trademark on the CVM logo, so all the clubs made generic vet school merchandise and sold it for their fundraisers. Starting next semester all logos are going to be trademark policed. We're not sure how it's going to work yet, but basically no longer can a club sell a polo that says Foxy's CVM. Instead it has to more prominently feature the club. Which will greatly decrease the amount of merchandise each club will sell (because used to everyone would buy stuff, now only club members will). This will serve to make stuff more expensive and means that I can no longer still get cool Foxy CVM stuff. So, in the past 6 weeks I've spent way too much money getting the vet school merchandise I want (a fleece, a few polos, a vest, and a few t-shirts). Whereas in previous years you could always buy it the next year, if our class wants anything we have to buy it this semester. Most of these things are things that I think are a good idea to spend the money on, I just wish I could have slowly amassed a collection rather than buying it all at once. Alas.
