Just wondering, if you are waitlisted and start a new AMCAS application, will the schools you are waitlisted at know that you have started a new application? Do they only know this if you add the school to you application or do they know regardless?

So could you start a new application and add the schools that you did not previously apply to/were denied from and then later add the schools you were waitlisted at if you do not matriculate?

Thank you.

I asked this question to one of the schools where I am waitlisted, and they told me new application is completely separate from the past one, so it wont affect your waitlist at all.
Also, some schools dont reject at all after interview.. So being waitlisted doesnt really mean "you were almost accepted" for every school.
