just got back from hanging out with friends.... all of them are going into surgery...
 
they were discussing using something called a fish instead of a malleable....
 
of course i say... fish as in a fish???? i've never heard of this (i obviously was neither thinking nor speaking appropriately)
 
i haven't made a group of people laugh that hard in a very long time! I of course had to laugh as well, it was pretty ridiculous what I said...

apparently they do use some plastic shaped fish though... that is just as ridiculous i believe!
 
the chinese food was good! beef with cashew nuts... yummm
 
h24g should be finishing up her step 2 soon.... i hope she did well!
 
the problem with having best friends in medicine is that ALL you talk about is medicine...
 
to make matters worse, we are all fourth years... having that much matchitis in one room is not safe for surrounding customers!
 
no one is online to talk to me 🙁 everyone else has a REAL life!!!!

how did it go?? pretty easy right? anyone else feel like the SPs were REALLY bad actors?? i felt like our own school SPs were better actors than the ones in the real deal
 
trying to decide what i'm going to do on match day...
 
im thinking of just going out with a few close friends and celebrating... not really in the mood to hang out with everyone at college!! i want to savor the moment on my own

our class is going crazy cuz only 40% did the DO match so most of us are still peaking with matchitis, and now i have to e-mail everyone about our graduation dinner. there's gonna be a fight about the day, the time, the price, everything. i did get an e-mail today from a program though! it wasn't a love letter, but was at least confirmation that the last few months haven't been a hallucination.

i felt like it was so easy that i'm actually very scared that it felt so easy that i actually must have been seriously missing something or omitting something that i was supposed to be doing. they were horrible actors 🙁 ugh
 
i just changed my rank list for the 4-5th time
it's a bad sign that my #1 is now my #4
i am seriously thinking of just posting my top 5 and having you guys rank them for me

Wasabi covered peanuts, 5 of them.
My sophomore year in undergrad I had a massive head cold/sinus infection/wanted to die. My econ prof was big into chinese economics and had just gotten back from a trip with wasabi covered peanuts and passed them around the class. I grabbed a handful and ate them all at once. It sucked, I honestly thought there was a fire inside my head. But it worked, I could breathe and smell and whatnot basically instantly...
 
I've gotten through more lectures (4) since 7p than I did all morning, so I'm taking a little break to pad it up.
 
My friends made snowmen and I had to study today...all because I procrastinate too much👎thumbdown👎
 
And EF totally kicked our butts with padding today...he needs to have a hard rotation so we can win the battle!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Apparently 4 lectures in 3 hours doesn't warrant a break...my fiance is gesticulating wildly for me to get off her computer...
