Hey, anyone want to know how to feel bad?
Go to the 2007 charting outcomes file from the NRMP. Look at the EM stuff. Go to the contiguous rankings. Look at the list for 13 contiguous ranks. If that list includes people in the couple's match (it doesn't say it doesn't), then see how out of 71 people, I was the only one not to match.

Although this isn't a pity party, it is just a reason to make me want it more next year.

awww...that's really sad. I'm not sure if I can find the page, but I get what you are saying. I hope I have better luck when it's my turn. Bad part is that if I am still with the SO I will have to try to match where he matched the year before me.
 
On the upper, got lots of studying done today, so now instead of being 8 lectures behind I am only 2 lectures behind...well until class tomorrow, then 5.
 
I found out that my school had 29 people match in EM last year...or the year before. Either way, I figure it's a good statistic and hope that I have the same luck in a few years. They were bragging at the first day of class about how well people did last year. Hopefully the trend doesn't fall short in a year or 2. Mind you, we are DO, so we get to choose from 2 different lists of residencies.

at our program they will pay you money if you have a tintinallis and they dont have to provide it to you. That being said dont waste your money on it as a med student. thats just my 2 cents
 
anything to serve my purpose of padding it up.

i should have no prob getting to 8k this month
 
i have so much to do tomorrow it isnt even funny
 
seriously i could probably be off another week and not get everything done i need/want to get done

ok, im back...had to do a VOLUNTARY overnight shift last night at our friendly neighborhood ER
