Can't decide whether I like surgery or not...

it's cool for the 1st part of the procedure...

then it just gets boring after the 2nd hour or so (just had a 9 hour valve replacement surgery)

I guess it's the ED in me...ADD raises it's ugly head.

What? Are you people out partying and having fun on this Friday evening?

I think I'm a bigger loser...been 'studying' for about 3 hours now...got more goofing off done that lectures. Still on the first one sadly. Oh wait, I did do something for class, just not a lecture too. Spent about an hour on that project. Talked for an hour, now almost done, but just can't seem to do it. As for padding that much, depends on the type of day I have. I feel so far behind already and I've only had 9 lectures this week. I am really a sad case.

jet lag blows. i woke up at 430 am, now im exhausted. been tired since 2pm.

i saw a great dog at the pound, maybe we will adopt a new one.

we will see if our other dog and him get along.

im watching the dog whisperer.. which is awesome.

jet lag has me waking up at freakin 4-5 am. I guess the good news is that i slept 45 mins longer today than yesterday

1. stop going to lecture

2. take SEVERAL study breaks while studying

3. survive 2nd year...i was so burnt out at that point with boards and all, good luck

what is direct tv, anyway?

Why is satellite tv better? I like having a DVR to record and rewind the few shows I watch per week, and that's about it.

All I know is my mother-in-law's stupid soap opera is moving to direct tv, which doesn't exactly exhault this entity in my eyes 🙄

Hey, Iatros, I felt the same way about surgery. Really loved floor work, the aggressiveness, and the beginning of cases (esp when I got to assist), but I felt bored in the middle of the case and wanted to go away. 😴

They kept trying to tell me I would be captivated if I was the one operating throughout the course, but given their years of training and lifestyle I'd rather not find out, anyway.

The service (as in customer service, etc) is a bazillion times better. Some things have caught up in the cable world (PPV, ease of changing settings--we'll pay for 1 day of a premium channel if there's something we want to watch), but I still wouldn't go back.

We also have a DVR. Love it, too!

I have TiVo (bought independently) and reception cable. Cheap and easy, kinda like m....never mind 😛
