Dang. I cant belive I missed it by just a few minutes... I so would have sniped you had I been here.... But I am busy talking to a female and trying to get lucky. This post is important, but some things take priorities. 😀 Oh well, many more pages to come!
 
Where is chumbo working? Maybe we could call and bother him at work.
 
And by bother I mean play a prank on him. Or something.
 
Had some coffee at work tonight. Guess I put too many scoops in making it...Three just didn't seem like enough...

Have I told you guys how pissed I am at my Ochem proffesor?
 
Yeah, so I asked her to write me a letter the 1st of August...
 
Go to talk to her about it and ask if she might know why I am still waiting on her letter at KY to have my app complete when all the others were there within a week.
 
Her response.... "When was that one due?" ...... ..... ..... Are you freaking kidding me? Are you seriously freaking kidding me a month and a half later lady?
 
So I politely tell her... uhmmm two weeks ago... She says ohmygoshokillgetitsentoutthisweek!!
 
Well that was last week. Monday probably. Yeah, Monday. And I'm still waiting. I hope its just KY being slow.
 
And so I learned a lesson: Old forgetfulass professors suck at writing letters quickly. This week on Monday I brought her the Interfolio letter. So hopefully she will send the KY letter out (I hope to doG it was sent out last week...) in a quick fashion, and will get the Interfolio letter out soon too.
 
At least I learned a lesson and am using Interfolio now. Wish I would have know about it before all this started...
 
Where is everyone?? Chumbo, you still :sleep?? How was that shift last night? ANything interesting? I think the best we had was a transvestite he/she that got caught stealing at a local dept. store and when she/he ran from the cops she/he fell down and cut her/himself with mulitple leg and foot lacs and sprained an ankle or something. Slow, slow night, but it was welcomed after all the crazy-as-hell shifts we've had lately.
 
Ya...some day. Trying to decide if I should go to the store or nap first. Hard decision here. Not awake enough to study, so nap would be good. Or maybe go to store first so that that part is over with. But then I might wake up.
 
Oh ya, had to review with a dr today my first soap note. I was told to go try to memorize their order they like for next time. I guess my order didn't make sense to them. Although when another person in the group (we viewed them in groups) found out I was interested in EM, they said it all makes sense now. :laugh:
 
shift was slow as usuaul...more skin rashes, ingrown toenails, and conjuctivitis
 
nothing cool in a while...gotta love those shemales
 
i wake up to check email...alas...still no interviews...no rejections yet either , but COME ON!
 
so, i think im gonna get a workout in today while i can

Took my nap. Now I don't want to get up. Maybe I can skip the decongestant for another day (the reason I had to go to the store).
 
Decided to skip the store and go back to sleep. Feel much better now. At least well enough to get some good studying in.
 
Frak! Actually got an attempt at an intubation today and I missed it. Pissed at myself. Much more difficult when you've got about 10 people standing there watching you.

I have decided I will freak when my transcript is uploaded and people start getting invites to places I applied to...
 
it's weird that we all keep missing each other...
 
this christiana rotation is horrible - they are good to the students, but the residents are all miserable

if anyone applied there, you should withdraw your application before it is too late :meanie:
 
kidding, of course, it is quite fabulous 😀, the residents are quite happy, and the faculty are exceptional
 
They don't guarantee an interview to rotators, though 🙁
 
I'm almost hoping for a sniper....
