Rec letters for two IM subspecialites

HI -

How should I request and send rec letter to eras for two IM fellowships from the same recommender?

In my case, I am planning to apply to PCCM and Rhem fellowships. So will have to get two rec letter from each person or would they give just one general letter. If I get two seperate rec letters from the same person, does the ERAS process them correctly?

I am not totally sure about this... but I think you can program ERAS letter slots as you wish. If you list the same person under two different slots with two different letters, then I think it is possible. Just make sure not to mix them up. You can try empirically or ask ERAS.

Addendum: This would case confusion on the ERAS letterhead... maybe alternate full name and then name without middle initial?
