I'm tired of seeing happy people's threads who actually got in. Us rejects need a thread to vent some frustration.

Doesn't it feel awesome to pay $40,000 for an undergrad..
$1700 for MCAT prep course...
$225 for MCAT test...
$80/night for hotels for interviews...
gas money...
application service fee..
secondary app fees..
etc


all to have them say "Well that was fun but GTFO. Thanks for playing." lol

Well I don't know if this would make you feel better...but most people who have ANY acceptances also have multiple rejections to go along with them.

I found out through my experience that cab fare is RIDICULOUSLY expensive. And only 80 bucks/night? That was my lowest! Its extremely expensive process...I've easily spent upwards of 5000 dollars in the last year on this.

and don't forget...the cycle ain't over until the first day of class!

As far as rejections go, I think all the SUNYs got together, had a couple cocktails and gossiped about how much I suck.

Whatever, UB! I don't care! I didn't want you anyway!

I haven't been rejected from everywhere yet, but definitely gearing up for round 2. I've been working full-time and with application fees created a balance on a credit card for the first time in my life. How do they expect us to be able to pay these ridiculous fees?! I need fin aid just to apply.
