I'm assuming you're asking whether it's worthwhile for residency applications. The answer is most definitely yes. Anything published you're going to want to put on your app.

Piggybacking onto this, will undergrad publications mean anything?
 
Yes, it will mean that you are capable of putting the work into doing a projecting and getting it piblished. That's good no matter when you do it. It also boosts your publication count.

It doesn't help if you try to tell residencies that you want to do academics, but your only pubs are from undergrad. And it doesn't help if you are trying to get into a research heavy residency program and your only research is undergrad.
