Hi

I'm a MD-PhD from Europe. I am in psychiatry (schizophrenia) research since graduation from med school 5 years ago (in the states since 1year). At the time I am studying for the USMLE's because I want to do a research track residency. I have a pretty good overview about good research groups in the states. I don't know much about the quality of the clinical side of the programs. Does anyone has any tips about good research track programs?

thanks a lot

Here's a brief list of research-oriented residencies. A few of them have formal research tracks, which generally means spending an extra year in residency and doing something akin to a 2-year research fellowship. In roughly geographical order:

MGH/McLean
Yale
Columbia
Mt. Sinai
U Pitt
U Penn
Hopkins
Emory
Wash U
U Iowa
Stanford
UCSD
UCSF
UCLA
