Hi there! I'm asking for a friend who's a foreign trained pharmacist and interested in pursuing a one-year residency.

What are the chances to get matched with a GPA of 2.5-2.6? I understand that multiple factors are considered when it comes to apply but we are concerned that the GPA will be a red flag that could kill our chances.

Thanks

Yes that GPA will hurt your chances of getting an initial interview. You need to have a stellar CV for programs that look at CV first before GPA. Even then, if u can kill the interview and blow them away, then you have a chance.

Foreign graduate with an active US license, or one who would need to still pass the FPGEE after matching?

The first one might have a chance with extensive experience. Without that or without an existing license, i am going to go with slim to none.
