Residency interviews and ICU rotation in January

Any advice on how to handle PGY2 residency interviews while being on an ICU rotation in January? (Did NOT apply to crit care pgy2)

This weekend I’m planning on polishing up a presentation to use for interviews and prepare questions/answers ahead of time.

Anything else I should prepare for while I have the upcoming weekend off?

Most of your interviews will likely be in February anyway. Good call working on a presentation in the meantime. Work on the delivery too, not just the PowerPoint.

I was lucky enough to receive an interview mid-January. So I’m trying to prepare topic discussions now (for rotation) and read up on ICU common themes. (Not an ICU person). Just trying to not have my life miserable this upcoming month.
