There is a minimal passing score on the comlex (400). Obviously people every year just pass step 1 for what every reason. If you do just pass with lets say a 415, what residency would still be in the running for that type of score? Even with good eval's from 3rd, and 4th year rotations? Haven't taken it yet just wondering, no one ive found on here has asked that question, and it is a possibality for EVERY DO student C,B, or A. So....if you have a bad test day and pass but barley, what then? FP, IM, gen surg, ER, OB/GYN, Peds???? Thanks.

do step 2 early and get a good score. you'll be in the running for more. I've seen people get into all of those residency programs with low step 1 scores. Even someone who got into an ACGME EM with a step 1 of 450 and no USMLE.
