Resident Grant Opportunities

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for resident seed grant / fellowship opportunities for basic and/or translational research. Can anyone help? I know of ASTRO and RSNA, but that is about all I have been able to find. Thanks.

ASCO, AACR, NCI, or the DOD are good places to look for national funding opportunities. Alternatively, try a site-specific organization (e.g. SNO for CNS tumors). Also, your own institution may offer resident grants. Generally the monetary value is significantly less for intra-institution grants but it's good for prestige and to get your foot in the door.

If you have a significant project and a good chunk of time to devote, I'd look into an NCI F32 individual post-doctoral grant. http://www.cancer.gov/researchandfunding/training/F32
