How long do you usually get to respond to a school's offer? The majority of my interviews were pre-December, but I still have one in late January that I would ideally like to attend since it's a great school.

I believe that you have 45 days to make a decision if you have a Dec. 1st acceptance. So you'll probably have to put down a deposit somewhere by Jan. 15th and then decide if it's worth going to the interview.

^ Not sure about 45 days. I was pretty sure it was 30 days for a December 1st acceptance, and 2weeks for a post-december 1st acceptance.

Oops, yeah good point. Some schools give you 30 days, others will give you up to 45. I know that Penn gives you 40 days. OP, some of the schools have their deposit deadlines listed on their websites, so you can look it up if you're worried about it. Regardless, you'll probably be stuck putting down a deposit since the interview is at the end of January.

Really? I was fairly sure Corky told us that it was still 30 days for December 1st, and 15 days for post-December 1st...but would likely give us a few more days, if necessary. Great, I can definitely use the extra 10 days to round up the money lol.
