what is the general policy for most optometry school when it comes to retaking a class you got a C in, do they average it out or replace it? thanx ahead for any info.

Some schools replace it others take an average. For ICO im pretty sure they'll replace your grade, but for PCO i know that they say if you take it at the same institution they'll replace it but if you take it a different institution they'll average the two grades.

yeah, i believe most schools average out the two marks. 👍

If they really average the 2 grades, then I'm screwed becasue I retook the 2 biologies and the 2 chemistries(taking chem 2 now) @ a comm. college.

Id e-mail the schools that your applying to find out what their policy is... every school is different.

well, it may also depend on how much time you have between classes, ie 15 years separates my calc classes.
