Ok, two things:

A) what's the new thread?

B) I just got the BMS email today saying that I got in. It's no medical school, but it could be another egg in my basket per se. PLEASE, could people help me figure out if I should accept this. You guys are like family and it would be helpful to hear your opinions.

Also, do I need to send in a deposit for BMS either way????

Thanks for all the great info! Maybe I'll be in your building this year 🙂

I like the BMS program b/c you take classes with actual medical school students and if you get in next year then you won't have to take those classes again I belive. I guess it would help to have less of a load. So its kind of like doing medical school in 5 years. Anyone know how difficult these classes are?

I was reading in the BMS forum that the grading is really strict. They make it difficult to even get a B. But, if you keep a 3.6, you'll probably matriculate. Matriculating into another medical school might be a whole different story. I'm not sure if any other school would be aware of the strict grading policies. It might be a kiss of death......

However, I look at it two ways right now:
1). It gives me a chance to get into medical school without having to take another year off. True, it's not a guarantee, but if I work hard at it, it could happen
2). It gives me a chance to really see if I'm even up to the medical school task. If I don't do well enough to get into a medical school, at least I'll have a masters and the potential to pursue a PhD somewhere else. That's an option.

I think the real thing I'm worried about is shooting myself in the foot. Am I marrying myself to the RFU medical school where I don't even know if I have a 100% chance of even getting into the school the next year? Second, it's a hell of a lot of money. Can I really justify that???????

Please, let me know what you guys think.
